Did anyone grill on Memorial Day? It was cold, it was rainy, and it was miserable here this year. However, we didn't let that stop us from firing up the grill. We love ribs and used to get them from this little mom and pop setup until they went out of business a few years back. The meat was just ehhh, but their sauce was top notch, and sadly we have yet to find anyone else whose sauce compares. Since then, I have been experimenting with different homemade recipes and have found one that I think beats all others. I wouldn't dream of using any old sauce out of a bottle now. It's homemade all the way! This Sweet & Tangy BBQ Sauce will tickle your taste buds and will have you craving BBQ year round!

ReplyDeletelooks good
ReplyDeleteboy do those ribs look delicious. I have never made a homemade bbq sauce before, it sounds pretty easy.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds really good. I never would have thought to make my own BBQ sauce, but now I want to give this a try. We usually just buy some Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce and call it a day, but we grill all the time, so I think I will try this the next time we grill chicken.
ReplyDeleteThe sauce looks delish. Just may have to give it a try. My husband likes to experiment with different spices and sauces.
ReplyDeleteLooks very tasty
ReplyDeleteI didn't grill this year - had pizza instead! But I must say the bbq looks like the MUCH better option :)
ReplyDeleteNever grill here, plus memorial day isn't celebrated up here I fear
ReplyDeleteYum! I love homemade BBQ sauce! So easy to make, and yours looks tasty!! We will have to try it out during our next BBQ :)
ReplyDeleteWe didn't grill. I love that you make your own sauce. :)
ReplyDeleteYour home-made sauce certainly looks good Theresa!
ReplyDeleteOh Yum!! That sauce looks GREAT! We had to go to my Mother In Laws to do some things for them. By the time we got home we were starving so just threw some hamburgers on the grill. So we did fire up the grill but it sure wasn't as tasty as yours.
ReplyDeleteWe grilled but on the Sunday at my 1dd's house. It was combo holiday off/birthday party for their youngest/my grandie. This sauce recipe is getting bookmarked right now. My SILs love to grill and so does HM! I love it, too, for them to do it. Re the error, I'll give you a hint: Look at the pics very carefully.
ReplyDeleteThis sauce is very rich, so I would have to withdraw the teaspoon of spicy ... not to drink more wine than necessary!
ReplyDeleteI'm salivating. It looks delicious.

ReplyDeleteAi @ Sakura Haruka
i'm sold--looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteIt looks really good!!!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds delicious! we may be vegetarians in this house, but for us, not much beats a meatless chic'n breast smothered in BBQ sauce, covered in foil, cooked on the grill with a side of corn on the cob. Will have to give this recipe a go. Yum!
ReplyDeleteWhy oh why did I come here and read this when it's an hour from lunch time? Mmmm ribs!
ReplyDeleteHmmm this looks delicious and easy recipe too. Somehow I am missing Applebee's rib :(
ReplyDeletePerfect timing! Had to pin this as barbecue season is here! Thanks for sharing Theresa.
ReplyDeleteI think I'll try this. We actually don't use bbq sauce on the grill very often, but I use it quite a bit when I bake stuff during the fall/summer/spring. My husband loves bbq sauce and goes through a lot of it, but prefers rubs when he's grilling. Maybe he's just weird? Haha
