Theresa's Mixed Nuts: Peaches 'n' Cream

Peaches 'n' Cream

I love fruit, but I usually never eat it for dessert. However, I've been playing around in the kitchen, and I have to say, peaches and cream has become my new favorite dessert! It's quick and easy to whip up, and best of all, it's something the kids can help make! If you are looking for something delicious to serve this Labor Day, this sweet dish is a surefire hit!

Ingredients:

1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
4 medium peaches, pitted and quartered
1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
1/4 cup brown sugar

Directions:

In a small bowl, beat cream until it begins to thicken. Add vanilla. Beat until soft peaks form.
Arrange fruit on a platter or in a dish. Top with whipped cream. Sprinkle with brown sugar.
Serve.

    YUM YUM!!! I love anything with strawberries. This would go well with a lot of fruits.

      Definitely Alissa! Adding in some sliced bananas or blueberries is yummy too! That's why I like this recipe. You can add in a variety of fruit and it tastes great!

    Since fruit is my ONLY dessert, I eat it daily although I do try to limit it to once a day. If I would subistiute the brown sugar for stevia and use a dairy free whipping cream, I could totally eat this. It looks very delicious.
