Every year we take the kids to Thistleberry Farm. They offer hay rides, pumpkin patches, a petting zoo, corn mazes, and a huge playground for all the kids. The playground was $8 for unlimited play, which I think is a pretty good deal. Mariah thought she was too old to play on the playground stuff this year, but Allison sure had a great time!
The air pillow is the best part of the playground though!
Of course, you can't leave without getting your picture in all the fun character cutouts!
Will you be visiting a corn maze this year?
FUN! I love their faces in the superhero cutouts LOL!! We do a corn maze every year, but it just opened this past weekend and the weather wasn't cooperative, so we are hoping to go next weekend. The place that has the corn maze has a wicked lame hay ride, though, so we go to a different place for the hayride/pumpkin picking. Lucky for us, around here, those places are a dime a dozen.
ReplyDeleteWe were pretty ticked about the hay ride here too. $3 each and lasted all of 3 or 4 minutes. Even the workers were saying what a rip off it was lol. If we could find a good one, then we'd be golden!
DeleteThistleberry Farm looks like one of those fun autumn adventures :)
ReplyDeleteWow looks like a great place to go and cheap too
ReplyDeleteYes we have corn mazes here that my grandson will go to. That name is cute though - Thistleberry Farm.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that such a catchy name? Sounds like a fall fruit or something!
DeleteHow fun! They look like they love it.
ReplyDeleteWe have a pumpkin patch here, but we're not going this year I don't think. The camp that Mica went to this last summer sent home a flyer saying they have free events on Saturdays in October. The events are a hay ride, crafts, archery, hiking and more. My sister's families and we are going mid October.
Shoot, you can't beat free! I'd probably be there every Saturday at that price lol.
DeleteThat looks like a lot of fun to me... I would walk the tight rope for sure.... and fall on the air pillow. Hahhaha... funny pictures.
ReplyDeleteI didn't even attempts the tight rope. I'd have fallen off and broke a leg or something! :)
DeleteYep, we always go, and I love it.
ReplyDeleteI like the cut-outs, and hello air pillow! Pretty sure my kids would love that!! Glad you had a fun day out.
Lovely pictures Theresa. Definitely a fun place to be.
ReplyDeleteThat looks fantastically fun. I wish I lived closer; I'd be happy going on my own, if not with my nephew or you all.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
xoRobyn
The more the merrier Robyn!
Deletesounds like such delight, kids need a contact with nature and farming!
ReplyDeleteFun and wonderful photos! A happy experience that original visit to park!
ReplyDeleteThat's so awesome. We don't have cute random things around here. Mostly because land is so limited.
ReplyDeleteI know there are corn mazes around here but I personally haven't been to one, but my daughter's have. One of my brother's best friends does one every year, but I haven't gone to it, ever. But the thing you have there looks like super fun with the bouncy thing and the tube slides. That is so cool of you to take your girls to all things fun and adventurous "as a family". Trust me those days will end before you know it.
ReplyDeleteNobody's too old for that, I'm jealous
ReplyDeleteWe actually will be visiting a corn maze, out in the middle of nowhere at Tom's Farm. We do it every year.
ReplyDeleteVery nice place to enjoy...
ReplyDeleteI have never been to this place. I still have a lot to explore, right?
ReplyDeleteI love those super-hero clicks lol.
What an awesome place! We have a corn maze close to our nearest town and I have never been. Maybe this year will be my first!!
ReplyDeleteI love visiting farms like these in the Fall! We planned on going this weekend but then Emma was sick. Hopefully soon though! You always have so many fun activities to do in your area it seems :)
ReplyDeleteOh I wish we had corn maze here... that looks so much fun! I love those colorful tires, remind me of candies :D
ReplyDeleteThis is really a fun place. Kids will really enjoy this.
