I like to roll my rum balls in many different coatings. Powder sugar, chopped nuts, and candy sprinkles are all great options too!

Do you like Rum Balls? What coating do you think you would like best on them?
I've never had these. I've never had rum cake. I have tasted rum...but it's been so long. It tastes a bit like butterscotch, yes? That's a fun/festive way to use your honey!
ReplyDeleteI honestly don't know what it tastes like Rosey. I don't drink alcohol, with the exception of wine every now and again, but my husband and his co-workers love Rum Balls. My niece makes them for the holidays every year too and the adult family members gobble them up!
DeletePretty sure they'd be a hit at most any holiday party. I don't drink much either...a shot of whiskey every now and again (we're talking every five years or so, lol).
DeleteThese sounds amazing!! Who doesn't love Rum balls! I'll have to try these with my Golden Blossom Honey that arrived today!

Yay for getting your honey in time for the holidays! I hope you stop by the Golden Blossom Recipe page and try a few new goodies with your honey :)
DeleteThey sound easy to make indeed
ReplyDeleteI never knew how easy they were to make. My niece makes a big production out of them every year, so I always thought they were tedious. I couldn't believe I had them done in 15 minutes!
DeleteI love stuff like this that's easy to whip up. I have three Christmas parties to go to over the next 2 weeks and I am bringing these to all three.
ReplyDeleteI made some in high school but I think we used too much rum (on purpose, lol). I'll make them again now and these are beautiful. Plus, I still love rum.
ReplyDeleteThese sound really good and they are so easy to make. I have never tried a rum ball. I think I would like powdered sugar and sprinkles.
ReplyDeleteI love rum balls, but I haven't ever made them myself. My mom makes them and they're so good! I may try making them this year!
ReplyDeletenom nom nom! I like them vanilla style dipped in white chocolate, or with peanuts inside and outside :) Or rum ones with raisins inside
ReplyDeleteI don't even know why I didn't think of adding raisins! We have rum raisin ice cream here too, so that should have been a no brainer! I am totally adding some for when I take these to our holiday get togethers this year! Thanks for the suggestion Dezzy!
DeleteYou can also make them with cherry brandy and some cherries inside :) Or with whiskey and bits of diced caramels inside :)
DeleteThese are so pretty, and my mom LOVES rum balls! I will try these out!
