We bought a Toronto City Pass voucher and the CN Tower was included in the tourist stops. It took us about an hour and a half to get to the top, but the girls enjoyed seeing Toronto from a birds eye view and laying on the glass floor, so the wait was worth it. The tower was really poorly lit, so don't plan to get good photos with a camera phone. I was kicking myself for not bringing my good camera because the views were spectacular. A storm was blowing in as soon as we got to the top and it was really pretty watching it fall down on the city below us. I'm glad it was included in the City Pass, otherwise we probably would have skipped this attraction. It's definitely a fun touristy thing to do in Toronto!
Do you like to view the city from skyscrapers or do you prefer to keep your feet on the ground?
imagine washing windows on that one.... We have a belvedere in the tower of our grand city hall, you've seen it on photos at my Facebook methinks
ReplyDeleteThere's no way I could be a window washer on huge buildings. I hate heights. It took everything I had to look out the windows here!
Deletereminds me of those glass bridges over in China where people scream like crazy and have scared fits.... the nightmare....
DeleteWow, that is long to get to the top. But actually experiencing it would be worth it indeed.
ReplyDeleteI think if you get there first thing in the morning, the wait should be pretty quick. We went late in the day and the lines were really long then.
DeleteI wanted to go there..such a beautiful place indeed, Theresa
ReplyDeleteI'm sure your itchy feet will get you there some day Indah ;)
DeleteThose look like incredible places to visit. My fear of heights might keep me grounded though.
ReplyDeleteI hate heights too and had to take a few deep breaths looking out over the city.
DeleteThe CN Tower is brilliantly fun! Can't count how many times I've been but it looks like you all had a wonderful time as well.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had a lot of fun! I don't know if I would make it to the top though, that's pretty high!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is neat. Im not sure I could go that high. lol
ReplyDeleteThat is incredible, what a view. I would keep my feet on the ground but I love seeing the photos. I wish I was fearless.
ReplyDeleteThat does look like a great way to spend some time. And ah to the view!! Nice!
ReplyDeleteI needed to go there..such a lovely place..Those look like mind blowing spots to visit...The CN Tower is splendidly fun!
ReplyDeleteI've lived in toronto for 6 years now and only been up in the CN tower once. It was enough for me haha its too high, and although I love looking out - that glass floor is not my cup of tea! - Jeanine
ReplyDeleteHow fun! Yep a city pass is the way to go! That's what we got when we went to Chicago. My sister says that's what to do if you go to Seattle too.
ReplyDeleteHow fun to see down from so far up!
Amazing experience, especially for the kids! I'm glad you had an amazing time, I think it's a great idea to purchase city passes. It's an awesome way to get around the city.
ReplyDeleteahhhh the glass floor.... would I be able to look down? I think laying for a photo would be easier on my nerves. I'd be looking UP!
ReplyDeleteWow, what an awesome experienced! I want to go there too and have tons of fun!
ReplyDeleteI like staying closer to the gorund
ReplyDeleteI am so sad to say we've never visited Toronto. Your pictures are great, looks like such a fun experience!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a lot of climbing! I would be worn out!
ReplyDeleteMy Daughter was up in that tower about a year ago. Her boyfriend was a little scared to go out on it, but did it anyway.
ReplyDeleteThat is a long time to get to the top but definitely worth it!
ReplyDeleteI would love the view from the top. My mom would be waiting at the bottom lol she hates heights.
ReplyDeleteI was bummed I didn't get to do it when I went on a Press Trip to Chicago, I will have to check this one out too!
