I'm just going to come out and admit that I am usually not a fan of my friends trying to sell me things. I remember back in the day, my mom always got roped into buying those plastic containers that were all the rage in the 80's. I swear, she was going to a party a month and coming home with more containers than we could ever use. Fast forward to this day in age where one doesn't have to call all of their friends and badger them to come to a home party, they can just mass invite everyone on their Facebook list to an "online party". Need some leggings? There's a party for that. Need some body wraps? There's no party shortages there. What about new makeup? Come to that party once you've bought up all the leggings and wraps. It's a never ending cycle that fills up my Facebook feed almost daily, and don't even get me started on those "Hey, Girl!" messages on Instagram. So irritating! So, when I saw that one of my friends was selling some new cleaning products on Facebook, I rolled my eyes and kept scrolling along.
Now, we all know that these sellers continuously post their wares, so eventually I started to take notice of these cleaning products that my friend was advertising. Here she was sharing video of what appeared to be a quick way to clean her home without chemicals. We all know that I am a sucker for natural cleaning products, especially since my dogs have had allergic reactions to commercial cleaning products in the past. But, what really caught my eye and made me take notice was when she dumped red wine on her white carpet, then removed the stain completely with just a dab of water and a hand mitt. With just water, say what!? Girl did not just clean up red wine from a white carpet with water! There must have been some camera magic going on there, right? I'm forever a skeptic, especially about a company I have never heard about before, so I wrote down the company name, H2O At Home, and promised myself to read real customer reviews once I had some free time. As life goes, I got busy and forgot to look more into it, but recently a bell went off in my head reminding me of the brand when I was asked if I would like to sample a few of their products.
H2O At Home is a French-based company that promotes healthier living with its all-natural/organic cleaning lines. In order to use the products, you only need to have water on hand. All of the products are durable and made to last, and are a great way to clean your home effectively, naturally and safely. Gone are the days of using toxic chemicals for home cleaning. All you need is a heavy duty microfiber cloth, water, and in some instances, a natural cleanser. H2O At Home's mission is to make life easier with products that uphold strong, environmentally-friendly and non-toxic values.
Since I have a lot of glass in my home, I first wanted to try the Precision Glass Chiffonnette®.
Allison is always smudging every mirror in the house with toothpaste, makeup, or getting hair spray spritz all over, so they were in need of a good cleaning. I dampened the chiffonnette and went to work wiping down her bathroom mirror and was immediately impressed with how quickly it powered through the mess and left it streak-free. I wanted to show a before and after here, but my camera does not capture mirror images well, but I do have a before and after using the All-Purpose Glove.
Rocky (my male boxer) had an upset tummy last week and decided it would be awesome to vomit on my bedroom carpet. The rest of the house is hard flooring and easy clean up, but where's the fun in that? Jason and I immediately went to work on cleaning up the mess, and even used a cleaner to try to get it completely removed, but even with all of our efforts, stains were still left behind. I knew I was going to have to break out my bulky and heavy carpet shampooer to remove the staining, but it would have to wait until I went to the store for more carpet shampoo. In the meantime, my H2O At Home kit arrived and I remembered my friend cleaning up that wine stain off her white carpet. "Ok, let's see if that glove and water did some real clean up magic or was she just bluffing?"
That's a week old dog vomit stain that's had time to set in. I poured water over the stain, put on the glove, then gave it a few good swipes with my hand.
And just like magic, you can see that the stain is starting to disappear. With just a few more passes of my hand, the stain was completely gone! You can see the stain transferred over onto the white glove.
That was just a tennis ball sized stain, so we went to the bigger stain to really put it to the test. Before:
After:
It didn't lighten the carpet there, it just showed up light on my camera since it was still wet. It dried completely normal, no discoloration to the carpet at all. You guys, this was a huge stain that was set in for almost a week. I had it lifted and completely removed in under 1 minute with JUST WATER and the All-Purpose Glove! I seriously couldn't believe my eyes. I didn't have to break out my heavy shampooer, didn't use chemical cleaners, and had it removed without hardly any effort on my part. If this isn't magic, I don't know what is.
I was equally impressed with all of H2O At Home's products. This Heavy Duty Chiffonnette® is great for tough jobs around the house, such as cleaning up mildew and hard water stains, screens, patio doors and furniture.
Cleaning Clay Kit and Heavy Duty Chiffonnette® make a great team for all-in-one cleaning around the kitchen and bathroom. The clay's gentle, abrasive action allows it to clean surfaces without scratching and leaves a protective layer that prevents calcium from redepositing. It works beautifully on stainless steel, ceramic, pots, pans, granite, silverware, jewelry, and glass. It has a delicious lemony scent that makes it even more pleasurable to use.
Also containing a pleasant scent is the Dish Washing Liquid. If you enjoy the scent of mint, you are going to love the dish detergent. Aside from it smelling absolutely amazing, it has a formula that is tough on soil, but leaves your hands feeling soft after use.
Netepur Soap works wonders on fabric, targeting new and old stains that are organic/protein based (chocolate, vegetable, eggs, blood), oxidized (wine, tea, coffee, fruit, soda), dyes (pollen, ink), and mineral and fat based (oil, butter, make-up, grease).
I am completely sold on the effective and natural cleaning ability of H2O At Home. I have been singing their praises to everyone I know since trying them for myself and highly recommend my readers to give them a try too. Even though there is a sellers program in place, I am not a part of their seller/hostess program. I just fully believe in their products now and hope everyone I know will try them as well so they can eliminate harsh and dangerous chemicals from their cleaning routines.
You can find these cleaning products directly on the H2O At Home website, or through H2O At Home Advisers and home parties. In addition to the cleaning products mentioned here, they have an extensive line of personal care and home fragrances to shop as well.
If you are looking for a reputable H2O At Home home advisor, I highly recommend shopping with my friend Courtney Fulton! She'd be happy to answer any questions and get you set up with any of H2O At Home's fabulous products!
What's an area of your home that you hate to clean the most?
Ewww on dog vomit in the bedroom, I'd never sleep in that room again, I'd probably burn the carpet down too and buy a new one :)
ReplyDeleteI do love me magical products like these! They all sound magnificent! Are they too expensive? And you did such lovely photos, I swear all these companies should hire you to shoot their professional campaigns, in most cases your photos are prettier than theirs!
They aren't overly expensive, but do run a bit more than chemical filled cleaning agents. The glove I cleaned up the stain with is $29 and is guaranteed to last for over 30 washes. I believe if you join their sellers program you can get the products at 1/2 price, but with my busy schedule, I don't have any room on my plate for new projects.
DeleteYou're too sweet :) I always stress about taking photos for companies, never thinking they will hold up to their standards, but then I remember I'm just a blogger so it's ok not to be perfect.
not hold up to their standards? What the what? I've never seen a single photo set of yours which hasn't been above professional standards.
DeleteYou know what they say. Comparison is the thief of joy. It think women are especially prone to comparing their work to others. It's easy for me to browse other bloggers or photographers photos and feel I'm totally out of my league here. I'm just winging it from week to week it seems lol. I am getting a bit more confident, but some days I'm just like "ugh! those photos suck".

Deletebut that is why my opinion as a man of renowned and exquisitely refined taste and world knowledge :) has an importance here. You know I'm deadly honest even when it means I'll say something nasty. And I've seen tons of pro/blogs from housewives, cooks, domestic ones and I know what good photos are. You are the top league, trust me, I actually believe most of them probably see you as their role model when it comes to photos and set styling.
DeleteAnd that's why I love you Dezzy. Your blunt honesty is so refreshing :)
DeleteThe cleaning is absolute magic! I didn't go to a party just ordered from a friend as a friendly gesture...used it on an old cranberry stain in my carpet...when I say old I mean it has been there for a year because nothing else could remove it...after 2 min of light scrubbing it was gone...I mean GONE! I was so impressed I had to go to a party to see more...everything I have bought has completely blown my mind! I am absolutely in love with the skin products...bought myself, daughter, son and his girlfriend the cleaning cloth...we all LOVE it! I'm sorry but not sorry H2O products rocks!
DeleteThat would be good for the hairballs I don't get right away, as a stain may come to play. Great when you can find a product that works indeed. Only cleaning I hate is the loo lol soo ewww.
ReplyDeleteThe loo is definitely not my favorite either. I'm just glad I didn't have boys because I'd probably hate cleaning it even more then lol
DeleteThis looks like a great set! I hate filing papers away. That's my biggest flaw. As far as cleaning a surface goes I'd pick the stove top. My boys aren't too bad hitting the toilet. They never have been thankfully!
ReplyDeletePaper messes suck. I hate trying to sort them and finding a place for them too. I have to agree about the stove top, especially when the family cooks eggs and doesn't clean it up immediately. Trying to get that dried on egg mess cleaned off the stove top always puts me in a bad mood.
DeleteOMG my kids get toothpaste everywhere, too! What's up with that?? This sounds like an awesome line of products.
ReplyDeleteLet's not forget about our husbands too. I swear, Jason is almost as bad as the girls with the toothpaste mess!
DeleteThat is amazing! I need this in my life! I love my two dogs, but they do destroy carpet.
ReplyDeletePets are good for destroying carpet, aren't they? Gotta love them though, messes and all.
DeleteWow, the glove and water really did the trick on that stain! This stuff is going to be so useful with pets in the house!
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to find a new cleaning product that actually works.
ReplyDeleteThese look like really great products that I need to try. I hate cleaning the bathroom the most.
ReplyDeleteThese sound like fabulous products. I love a good quality cleaning product.
ReplyDeleteit's effective and natural..I love that.
ReplyDeleteTotally need these products for the house! It's awesome how effective it is when it comes to cleaning stains and all that. It's definitely a must have! Checking it out now!
ReplyDeleteI need these in my bathroom! Love that these are made with natural materials. Thank you for sharing this!
ReplyDeleteI am game for anything eco-friendly and toxic free. I want to make sure that I use less and less harmful products especially at home. These sound amazing and they do a great job as well! I'd love to try these!
ReplyDeleteI had never heard of this company before. Glad I have though! I'm a sucker for natural cleaning products as well.
ReplyDeleteHo amazing is that! It totally made that carpet look brand new!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter has two dogs and they are always doing something to her carpet! She would love these products for cleaning up their messes.
ReplyDeleteIs it weird that I want to get this for my mom for her birthday? Normally cleaning products aren't my go-to gift, but I know she would love to erase messes.
ReplyDeleteWith a dog and the grandchildren, our carpet lays victim to pet messes, and the grandkids' spills. I don't want a chemical based cleaner because it is not safe for dogs, cats and small children. I will have to get this H2O at home cleaner. It does look it does its job very well.
ReplyDeleteI think I would need the cleaning clay. That looks like an effective way to clean tiles and counter tops. I have not tried any of their products yet, but I sure will soon!
ReplyDeleteI was one of those people who never hosted parties, never wanted a business, and was always skeptical. I was interested because I'm frugal, don't like to waste time cleaning, am environmentally conscious, and an asthmatic with allergies and sensitive skin. Over 6 years after my first purchase, my glass chiffonnette still works and my glove has been washed hundreds of times. I'm go glad I found this company and decided to start my own business to help other people discover how to actually get the job done without toxic chemicals. Thanks for sharing your honest review!

ReplyDeletewow that's really some crazy, magical stuff!! something that you really have to try to believe that it'll work for u haha..
ReplyDeleteAi @ Sakura Haruka
Oh goodness - I despise cleaning our master bathroom - the stand up shower is not an easy one to clean - it's awkward, and the water won't reach some areas to rinse off...I dread it EVERY SINGLE TIME!
ReplyDeleteI'm completely enthralled with the glove you used to clean the carpet - with 4 cats in our house, we are CONSTANTLY cleaning up hairballs. Ugh!
I'm like you and don't like going to parties - although my best friend started selling LipSense recently, and I'm addicted to that stuff. LOL!
Our stand up shower sucks to clean too. It's one of my least favorite spots to clean in the house! I've never had a cat, so hairballs never crossed my mind. Yes, these products would be great for that as it is with the junk my dogs hack up.
DeleteI haven't heard of LipSense before. Is it a lipstick or lip plumper? I'm going to have to do a little research on that ;)
The LipSense is a long-wearing lipstick. It lasts all day long - you put on 3 layers (either same color, or varying colors to make your own) followed by a gloss, which keeps the color in place. I put mine on before I leave in the morning, and it stays on until after dinner. I keep an extra gloss at work so that after lunch I can moisturize my lips, and it makes the color pop again - looks like I just put on new lipstick, but I never have to reapply from the morning. Most times there is still a trace when i take my makeup off at night. I have caramel apple (my favorite color), apple cider, napa, hazelnut, bella, honey rose and 3 different glosses. It's fun to mix and match the different colors - I can't wear hazelnut or bella alone because they are so dark, but I can mix them with something lighter to make a suitable color. You should definitely look them up - they are awesome!! I've never been one to reapply lipstick - once it was gone, it was gone...this has been a game changer. :)
DeleteI did do a Google search after reading your comment and saw that they were lip colors. I can do a sheer gloss, but color on my lips makes me look like a clown, so I keep them neutral. My daughter, however, would love LipSense. She's all about the color! I am going to think about putting some in her stocking this year.
DeleteWell this s something I must try out (H2O)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a winner, Theresa! Now that I'm retired, I am enjoying cleaning more and more because I have more time. I'm always on the lookout for effective, non-toxic cleaners. I dislike cleaning toilets the most.
ReplyDeleteYou know, my mother-in-law retired last year and my father-in-law said to me, "Boy, I never know how much Phyliss liked cleaning until she didn't have to work." I think it's just a drag when you have a full time job and mouths to feed, you don't want to add cleaning to the ever growing list. I actually find cleaning soothing as well. Except the toilets. I will never enjoy cleaning the toilets.
DeleteI'm sold! Anything that works like that makes my life easier. I'm so busy right now that easy makes me happy.
ReplyDeleteI swore I'd never ever sell anything again to anyone, been there hated it. Then I discovered H2O At Home. Love, love, love it! Yes, I sell it and I haven't regretted one moment of it. Fantastic company and products, they are all like this reviewer says, magical! I love educating people about the toxic chemicals they use every day and don't need. Too bad you didn't try our laundry products, they are amazing!
ReplyDeleteThese products look amazing. I have 3 kids and a dog so we are always cleaning!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if you tried the laundry ball?
ReplyDeleteHi Debby,
DeleteNo, I have not tried the laundry ball, but will probably do so in the future.
For individuals who think that its trying for them to keep their homes clean, an expert cleaning organization is very prescribed.
ReplyDeleteGenerally, the easiest way to find a vacuum cleaner is to visit your local department or electrical goods store. thehousegoods
ReplyDeleteAlthough I prefer making my own homemade natural cleaners, but these products looks so elegant with the bright colors and fragrances. I am thinking for giving them a try.
ReplyDeleteSome of the problems with these cleansing agents is they can get stuck. does green gobbler work
ReplyDeleteWow! Such an amazing and helpful post this is. I really really love it. It's so good and so awesome. I am just amazed. I hope that you continue to do your work like this in the future also Drano
