St. Patrick's Day Game!

St. Patrick's Day is one of our favorite holidays! Every year my girls look forward to playing our St. Patrick's Day game. All you need is some green construction paper, a little black pot (I find a 6 pk at Walmart or Michael's for $1-$2) and some gold paper wrapped candy.

 Cut out a lot of 3 leaf clovers from the construction paper. Then just cut out a few (I only have 3) four leaf clovers. Sprinkle them all over your house and once the kids find a four leaf clover, they get rewarded with a pot of gold!

I usually make them wear silly headbands while searching. It makes it a little more fun and festive!

    My kids would love this, and would be great for their age as well. I think I might try this, I've been trying to think up something fun for St.Patty's day. You come up with the cutest ideas! :)

      Yes it would be perfect for their age range! I think you may want to start out small on how many clovers you use this year though and increase as they get older. Allison used to get frustrated after about 5 minutes of searching when she was in the 3 to 4 year old age range. Now I have so many it keeps them looking for about 15 minutes, which I think is a good amount of hunting time. Trust me, they will love it!

    That sounds awesome! We usually plan a treasure hunt for our kids on St. Patrick's Day. They love it!

      A treasure hunt sounds like so much fun! We may try adding one to our festivities if I get the motivation to plan one out :)

    such a cute idea ... sounds like a good time for all. Too bad my kids are too old --- guess I will earmark it for grandkids (but not too soon thankyou)

    That does look fun, and my son is the perfect age to do this (except the headband...maybe a silly hat instead...boy thing, you know). :)
