Ingredients:
2 Cups Milk
1/2 Cup Whipping Cream
1 4 Serving Size Instant White Chocolate Flavored Pudding Mix
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries, chopped strawberries, or whole Raspberries
5-8 Drops Blue or Red Food Coloring (optional)
Directions:
In a blender container combine milk, whipping cream and pudding mix. Cover and blend until smooth. Add desired food coloring. Cover and blend until combined.
Transfer to a medium bowl. Let stand 5 minutes. Stir in berries.
Pour or spoon mixture into eight to ten 3 oz paper or plastic drink cups or frozen pop molds. Cover cups with foil; cut a slit in the foil and insert wooden sticks. Freeze 4 hours or overnight.
Serve. Makes 8-10 3oz pops.
oh my gosh! I love this recipe! looks so good! I am going to try this...thanks!! does it stay frozen?!
ReplyDeleteThese stay frozen pretty well, but I would not suggest putting them in a bucket of ice without the molds on them. The ice stuck to the pops and was hard to get off. It just made for a cute picture :)
DeleteThose are so cute!! How perfect for July 4th...(which happens to be my son's birthday that day hehe). I bet I could do that for Canada Day but with Red and White! :) Thanks for sharing this neat idea!
ReplyDeleteYes, you could change them up for Canada Day! Too bad his birthday isn't on Canada Day. You'll just have to bring him to the US on his bday and tell him we are setting off fireworks for him :)
DeleteI think I could so do that. Too bad the kids aren't around to enjoy them. I bet they won't give you gas either. ;)

Forget the kids and hog them all yourself. When I don't add berries (like the white one) they kind of taste like those Jello Pudding Pops they used to sell in the stores. I bought those for myself and hid them from my kids lol.
DeleteAnd no, these won't give you gas either hehehe
yummy! perfect for our hot tropical weather here too :)

Absolutely! Just because they are called "patriotic" and are red, white, and blue, doesn't mean you can't make them yourself, minus the food coloring!
DeleteYUM! Fresh fruit, pudding and cream - how could you go wrong?!!
ReplyDeleteOh yummy. I think I might modify these as well for Canada Day and whip some up. I love that I can buy the white chocolate pudding mix in sugar free as well. White chocolate and raspberries are a killer combination!
ReplyDeleteYum, my little teething baby girl would love to sink her gums n two teeth into these! :-)
ReplyDeleteThese just look great! I may make some red and white ones for Canada Day this weekend. I am so like you when it comes to having a folder full of torn out recipes. I also have a huge stack of magazines I still have to go through to tear out recipes!
ReplyDeleteGeesh, I wish I could just tear this recipe out! LOL!
It's an addiction I tell you. I have a stack of magazines of my own sitting here I need to go through, yet I keep going to the library to get more magazine to scan the recipes out of. I'll be amazed if I ever get around to making 1/2 of the ones I already have!
Deletegreat idea! Thank you for sharing at the Thursday Favorite Things Blog Hop Linky Party. I hope you have a wonderful weekend xo P.S. I'm having a party at Katherines Corner today and you are invited!
