I hate the poster phase! It looks so unorganized to me. My 12-year-old was the worst. They were on every bit of wall and ceiling and even overlapping (of National Geographic animals). This Christmas holiday she helped remove most of her posters and we changed the room's lay-out. She shares a room with Amanda (my 4 year-old).
Ha ha ha, my room never ever looked like that; I really only listened to classical music and Michael Jackson, which now sounds really weird. Right? Oh, and Ace of Base, can't forget them too. Other than that, I was a book and manga and anime nerd!
I remember my sister being a big Kirk Cameron fan. I think I might have actually ripped up one of her posters of him in a fit of rage towards her once lol.
Hahaha! How awesome is that! My room looked exactly like that when I was a teenager, but my posters were New Kids on the Block, Joey Lawrence and Menudo! LOL. I think I just dated myself......
Your daughter has a cool room Theresa!:) When I was a teenager the walls in my room carried a few posters of favourite singers but there were also many postcards and other pictures. Thanks for hosting and Happy WW!
Yes, pretty much like that. I had large posters, small pictures, etc but my favorite wasn't a fan poster but rather a "ski poster" entitled Ski Missouri with a guy on skis in a field. Why this was so funny at the time, I don't know.
My daughter's room doesn't look like that yet, but it's on the way. She recently got her own room (under 2 weeks) so she has a lot of decorating to do.
HA HA! Yes it did. I had Tom Cruise from Top Gun, the volley ball scene on my wall. Now I think he's crazy. I was in love with River Phonex to. He died of a drug overdose. :(
Oh yeah, my walls were completely covered - my mom wouldn't have dared venturing into my room when I was a teenager! I was into the rock/metal scene in high school!
I was a massive Madonna fan and so had a big poster of her and then small faces dotted around and stuck on the wall with drawing pins! I love this post! Emily
hehe...you know you have girls in the house when you see those! I remember those days when I was younger. I'm sure Emma will be doing those in the future too! ;)
Oh yes definitely! My wall was covered with NKOTB especially Jordan Knight's posters and then the Beverly Hills 90210 casts in my closet door. I am smiling now to recall all that crazy ha ha...thanks for this one Theresa!
Theresa! I didn't know you had a meme? Where have I been? Do you do it every Wednesday? silly me. Thank you for all the stuff I've sorting and studying through.
My daughters did the wall thing too with 90210 posters/Tom Cruise and hello kitty. hahahahaha. (oops, I hope they don't read this)

My Organized Chaos
We bought corkboards for our daughters to put up pictures/posters to save the doors (and paint!). So far One Direction is the decoration.

ReplyDeleteThanks for linking on Amanda's Books and More!
I couldn't agree more. I cringe every time I walk in to her room. I can't wait for this phase to pass!
DeleteNo, my mother couldn't stand us putting up anything on the walls or doors. Except inside the closet of our toy room, where no one could see it. LOL
ReplyDeleteThose are awesome posters.
ReplyDeleteIt did indeed!

ReplyDeleteYes! First with Kirk Cameron posters, and later with all hair bands lol.

ReplyDeleteOh, yes! NKOTB! I guess every generation has to have a boy band to fawn after, right?
DeleteLooks just like my Granddaughters rooms did before they went to college. So funny!!

ReplyDeleteI had a few pages torn out of Tiger Beat magazine on my walls . . .
ReplyDeleteThankfully the boys talk about putting up mainly posters but I have cluttered their walls with family photos.
ReplyDeleteLoL...that's brings back memories. Me, I had album covers on my walls and it drove my Mom nuts. Maybe it was all that tape that did it.

ReplyDeleteWonderful compositions. I love how you are with those blue background.
ReplyDeleteMy room totally looked like that! Except my mom wouldn't let me tape anything to the paint. Only my bedroom and closet doors.
ReplyDeleteI cringe remembering that my bedroom wall was covered in pictures of David Cassidy!
