We recently told Allison that she used to have a disgusting snacking obsession. She didn't believe us until we showed her the photographic proof.
When she was 2, Allison would constantly steal the dog food bowl. As soon as we heard crunch, crunch, crunch, we knew the dog food bandit has struck again. Thank God she outgrew that stage!
What's the strangest thing your kids (or you!) have ever liked to munch on?
That is SUCH great blackmail for when she gets older. The strangest thing I have seen my little man eat is old goldfish crackers he found under the couch. EW!
ReplyDeleteI don't remember my 2 kids ever doing that but my 3rd granddaughter did it ALL the time.
ReplyDeleteFirst she would dump out the dog's water and then get on all 4's and eat the dog food...lol It was gross and cute at the same time!
buwahahhahahaa You got photographic proof!!! I nibbled a dog biscuit once to see how it tasted. I remember thinking, 'eh, not bad.' Today I would never attempt such a thing. ;)
ReplyDeleteI made my dog some homemade treats and had a bite since I knew what exactly went into them. They weren't very tasty. A bit dry. But the dogs sure loved them!
DeleteOMG good thing she didn't grow a tail or something :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I thought a cat eating out of the dog's food/vice versa bowl was weird.
ReplyDeletelol wow, the cat eats the dog food at the other sea, but never saw a kid do it before, blah. Did she start to bark lol
ReplyDeleteHmmm, she does tend to bark orders at us when she isn't getting her way. Blame the dog food? Must be it! lol
DeleteHaha this is so cute! Hmmm, I don't know- my daughter used to eat everything but she especially liked chewing on the lead end of pencils, buttons from her shirt and could only have metal zippers because she would chew off all the plastic teeth. She turns 13 next week- and last week she chewed the buttons of her Dad's remote control. Eek!
ReplyDeleteOh blah!! I have seen kids do this before. Thank goodness mine wasn't one of the kids.
ReplyDeleteMy youngest used to purposely drop food on the floor and then eat it from there.
ReplyDeleteI think I used to eat th dog food too...and now I can't my son in the cat food!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter did this every time we visited my sister who had a dog! Goodness it was bad! She's also drink from the dog's water bowl. Oh gross! lol.
ReplyDeleteI remember that stage so well! We had 2 under 2 for a while and I was constiantly moving the pet bowls. Finally we just moved them to the laundry room where I could shut the door. The pets never minded sharing luckily - but still so gross!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, my littlest (now 2) loves cat food.
ReplyDeleteShe looks to be enjoying it at least
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! Hahaha.. luckily you kept that "evidence" :P She's such a cute baby
ReplyDeleteAi @ Sakura Haruka
Oh gosh! When my daughter was little, her cousin convinced her that she would become a cat if she ate cat food. We caught her chowing down!
ReplyDeleteThat is too funny, luckily the dog was not one to fight over its food. My kids have also done a lot of crazy things, they are so cute and entertaining.
ReplyDeleteSnacking is a horrible habit; my dog would attack anyone who dared touch her food.
ReplyDeleteAww that is just too cute, lol.
ReplyDeleteLove it! That is super cute! I love funny pics of the kids
ReplyDeleteWhat is good for the goose (or dog)... LOl. What a cute picture.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure if my kids ever had a strange snack habit. In fact my one son was such a picky eater and turned his nose up at so many foods.
We were just talking about this in the car today. Our youngest took a box full of chocolates that I got for Valentine's Day and polished the whole box off in one sitting when he was a toddler.
ReplyDeleteLOL that is so cute. I think I ate it as a kid too LOL
ReplyDeleteOMG that is the cutest....although I suspect Allison is going to kill you for posting that. She is just too cute!
ReplyDeleteThat's so funny! She has the sit, stand, squat thing going. Mica does that all the time.
ReplyDeleteMy Dad was looking through the play closest, and found that there were paint brushes all chewed up. We're thinking Mica did that when he was teething. He hid and did it. Nothing like adding fiber and paint chemicals to your diet. Ewwww!
