Some of you may remember me talking about taking a trip there last year. My best friend has never been to that beach, so we thought it would be a fun experience for her and her girls.
We did a little bury the kids in the sand...
Took some water selfies...
Rolled down the sand dunes...
But the best part was mud hunting.
The girls wasted no time digging into the natural clay mud and smearing it all over their bodies. Us big girls got in on the action too...
But... this year we went a little further than we did last year and stumbled upon a mudslide! How fun is this!?!?
A very fun day at the beach. Yay for sun, sand & mudslides!
How often do you go to the beach in the summer?
How cool is that mud slide!!!! I need to bury Lil Pumpkin the next time we go to the beach ahahahahah..
ReplyDeleteAi @ Sakura Haruka
That mudslide sounds FUN! And yay for making it to the beach. We have been going to our beach chilly or not lol. It's been a chillier July than usual for us, too.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun filled day, but mud and ocd don't mix for me lmao barely go to the beach now a days here
ReplyDeletesounds like great fun and you're positively glowing in that picture with your friend even under all the mud :)
ReplyDeleteMy case was all wet so that pic of me and Jenn didn't turn out so well with the fogginess, but I love it anyway. It's not often I get to see her, so I don't have many photos of us together. That makes this one that much more special to me :)
DeleteDid you say.... mud hunting? Haha well, you sure had fun!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I prefer mud..... wrestling.... ;)
DeleteOh, there was some wrestling going on in that mud. Put 6 girls together and there's bound to be a little mud slinging going on at some point :)
Deletelooks like fun, been awhile since I've been to the beach
ReplyDeleteThat looks like such a blast!!! Living in Nebraska - we don't have any beaches. We have sand dunes way out West. That's hours away from here.
ReplyDeleteWe were lucky to hit some sand dunes in Colorado. Mica and Travis love them! I think they are so pretty to. They are my climbers though.
You all look like you had a blast. I love your photos!
Climbing those dunes is so tiring, but the views are usually so worth it! And running back down is always a blast!
DeleteWe go at least once per week, maybe more. We visit the beach where I grew up - love being close!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had so much fun. I've never tried mudsliding before but I know my kids would love it!
ReplyDeleteWe are hours and hours from any beaches, so we rarely go. We're all more pool people than beach people anyway, though. I asked Elliott if he wanted to go to the beach while we were in Florida, and told him it would take most of a day because it would be about an hour and a half to two hours away. He looked at me like I was crazy and asked if our hotel's pool was going to be broken. Haha.
ReplyDeleteWe go when ever we get a chance to the beach. But I must say we have no mud holes like that. My boys would love it!
ReplyDeleteThe mudslide is so cool! That's something I've never experienced but would love to!
ReplyDeletevery cool indeed! wish our beached had mud capabilities!
ReplyDeleteWe go very often to the beach but it is all water and laying fun
This brings back memories. We found a rock slide one time.. It was much more rough than what I mudslide sounds like.
ReplyDeleteI'm laughing because I know my oldest son and my daughter would do it. I'm thinking my second oldest would do it (and I'm talking about the mudslide). My youngest is such a dirt avoider though, I don't know if he'd do it, lolol I'm laughing thinking of his face if he was there. :)
ReplyDeleteThis looks like such a fun day, that's a great way to break your bestie in to the beach!
It was unusually cold here too. The water is still too cold for me - I am jealous. It looks like you had such a great time.
ReplyDeleteNot to often i'm not a huge fan but son would go every weekend.
ReplyDeleteOh the fun times of summer! Looks like you are all having a blast. Amber N
ReplyDeleteNow that looks like one awesome place to spend a day! Love the mud slide, such fun! x
ReplyDeleteThat looks a lot of fun! I am LOL at the rolling down the dunes because my girls would be all over that. The messier the better!
ReplyDeleteI was at Warren Dunes all the time as a kid! I never found a mudslide though. That is awesome.
ReplyDeleteWe would have had a blast with the mudslide. I think I read somewhere that it is good for your skin too.
ReplyDeleteOh how fun! Looks a great day! We have plenty hot days here in Houston
ReplyDeleteThat mudslide looks like great fun.We go to the beach as much as we can in the summer.
ReplyDeleteI'm a native Californian and never went mudsliding at the beach. I'm so envious! Looks like an awesome time.
ReplyDeleteI have never ever seen a natural mudslide! Awesome pictures and you guys look like you had a blast! Happy Summer!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like so much fun! I really want to try a natural mudslide, it seems amazing.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a fantastic time! We live in Florida, so we're at the beach just about every other weekend during the summer!
ReplyDeleteLove beach days. Looks like a great day.
ReplyDeletewow, I want to learn how to swim now. I wish I could do all this.
ReplyDeleteAwesome pictures Theresa!
That looks like so much fun. I love all beaches. Sometimes so calming about the sand, sun and surf.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great summer vacation! I haven't been to the beach this year but there is still time. I have to go to the ocean at least once in a while.
ReplyDeleteThat water selfie is the best! lol I got to go for the first time in years this summer and had such a great time. Sadly, The Chef is not a big beach fan. :(
ReplyDeleteHow often do I go to the beach? Well, I live in Trinidad. So, at least four or five times a month, all year long. :)
ReplyDeleteUnderwater selfies, sand dunes and mud slides...sounds like a perfect summer. :)
The last time I was at the beach was in 2012. Sadly, we do not have a beach near where we live. I'd love a nice walk along a nice beautiful beach. You guys all look soo very happy!
ReplyDeleteI've been to the shore about 3 or 4 times. But never got in the water. We have a pool here in our complex. We go there often.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like so much fun, especially the mud sliding part! That's something I could spend all day doing and have a great time.
ReplyDeleteI live no where near a beach so I may get to one once a year. Love the pictures!!
