Every now and again I like to bake up some cookies or a cake, but that can be time consuming when I have to do it from scratch. Sometimes I want those cookies or that cake without a lot of hassle, but it is very rare for me to have the boxed, ready to make options on hand. This year my family has stepped it up, exercising more and trying to eat healthier, and many of those boxed options contain GMO's and preservatives, which is something we are trying to eliminate from our diet.

This weekend I decided to make Immaculate Baking's Brownies. I was thrilled to see that all I had to add to the dry mix was 1 stick of butter and 2 eggs. 

I simply added the 2 ingredients, mixed, poured, then waited about 30 minutes, and Voila! The brownies were done. Super quick and easy!

How did they taste? Absolutely amazing! They were so moist and chewy, and packed with chocolaty flavor, we all went back for seconds! It definitely passes the "live up to scratch test", which means it tastes just as good if you made them from scratch yourself. While my girls don't get to indulge in sweets like this often, because the ingredients are so wholesome, I didn't feel too guilty letting them go back for more.

The brownie mix ingredient list:  sugar, wheat flour, semisweet chocolate chips, cocoa powder, corn starch, salt, and natural vanilla flavor.
