I've always hated when my grandmother's hens pooped on the eggs :) It is interesting that in my country eggs aren't really washed and you often get some poop too when you buy a cartoon :)
PS the lil' boy from the pic needs some vitamins - when you have those white lines and dots on your fingernails it is always a sign of vitamin or mineral deficiency.
What a fun time on the farm. I spent summers/holidays with my cousins on a farm when we were younger. Such great memories - and I love that first photo with the ducks!
that last photo will be one to treasure. I was raised in Jamaica and we raised chickens. I used to love collecting the eggs. Milking the goats was another story altogether :-)
Is that a chicken egg? Great pictures and especially the last one shows the joy of the four children as they link hands and run with abandon through the farm. Estelle
I love that photo of the four kids running whilst holding hands. simply lovely.
ReplyDeleteAwww, I love that photo of the 4 of them chasing the ducks. Totally something my boys would do!

DeletePooped on the eggs... Talking about poo again? You've been doing so for the past four or five years.
Deletebetter than when the ducks used to chase us when we were little. They might of been geese I think, very evil geese.

This reminds me of growing up in the country when I was a kid. If I had room at my house, I would get some chickens so I could have fresh eggs.

ReplyDeleteHow cool I never knew how dirty an egg could actually get!

What a fun place to children! I wish we could have chickens, however living smack dab in the middle of the city doesn't allow for that.
