Add Some Flavor To Your Recipes With Texas Pete! #TexasPete #ad

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Texas Pete. All opinions are 100% mine.

The holidays are officially in full swing, and for me, that means it's party season too! For the next month my calendar is packed with invites for holiday gatherings with family, friends and co-workers. I was raised to never arrive at a party empty handed, so I always try to bring a dessert or appetizer that will add a little flare to the buffet table, and when it comes to flare, Texas Pete  has it covered!

Texas Pete Hot Sauce is the perfect ingredient to add spice and flavor to recipes. It is great for spicing up hot dogs, fries, pizza, soups and sandwiches, but can also be used as an ingredient in a wide variety of dishes from ribs to barbecue, and even red velvet cake icing! It really gives coleslaw a punch of flavor too, which is the perfect side to take to any of your holiday parties this year!

Texas Pete® Zippy Tie Dye Coleslaw
YIELD: 2 quarts

INGREDIENTS
1/2 head Red cabbage, shaved thin
6 Tbsp Brown sugar
3 Tbsp Red wine vinegar
1-2 Tbsp Texas Pete® Hotter Hot Sauce
1 Red bell pepper, finely julienne
1 Yellow bell pepper, finely julienne
1 Green bell pepper, finely julienne
1/2 cup Radishes, sliced thin
1/2 onion Red onion, julienne paper thin
2 carrots Carrots, fresh, grated on the large shredder
1 tsp Caraway seeds
1 tsp Celery seeds
2 Tbsp Parsley, fresh, minced
1/3 cup Mayonnaise
To taste Salt and pepper

PROCEDURES:

1.     Place the thinly shaved red cabbage into a large mixing bowl.  Add the brown sugar, red wine vinegar and the Texas Pete® Hotter Hot Sauce and mix well.

2.     Let this mixture marinate at room temperature for 10 minutes before adding all the remaining ingredients from the bell peppers to the mayonnaise.  Season with salt and pepper and mix until all ingredients are fully incorporated and refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.

Not only does Texas Pete have delicious hot sauces, they offer a wide variety of products to help you add flavor to any dish. Wing sauces, Hotter hot sauce, garlic hot sauce, CHA! by Texas Pete sriracha sauce and a green pepper sauce will make your recipes memorable and worth passing down through the generations. If you need some inspiration on new dishes, you can find an impressive selection of Texas Pete Hot Sauce recipes right on the Texas Pete website.
