I am not a big fan of winter. I could list many things that I really dislike about the season, but to shorten it down, one of my top 3 pet peeves is the dry, itchy skin that comes with the colder weather. I have sensitive skin year round, but it gets irritated more easily in the winter, so I have to be extra cautious of what products I use on my body. When Belli Skincare contacted me to review some of their skincare products, I was thrown a little off guard since it is skincare geared towards expecting mothers, which I am definitely not. But after reading a little more about the product line, it clicked in my head. I often switch to using baby wash in the winter months because it doesn't irritate my skin, so there isn't much of a difference in trying a more adult version of these types of skincare products. Belli Skincare isn't just for expecting mothers. It's for anyone who wants to pamper their skin while maintaining peace-of-mind.

Belli Skincare

The thing that first drew me to Belli Skincare is that it is safe to use on all skin types. Every Belli product is allergy tested, free of artificial dyes or fragrances, phthalates and paraben preservatives. The products even go through a unique safety screening process to avoid ingredients with known links to birth defects or harmful effects while breastfeeding, so they are the perfect product anyone concerned with what they are putting onto their skin.

Belli offers an extensive line of products, from body wash and lip balm to facial moisturizers and cleansers. I received 4 of the products to try for myself:

Belli All Day Moisture Body Lotion :

This lightweight body lotion deeply moisturizes and comforts dry skin. It features lemon oil, which is known for its uplifting qualities, and chamomile that soothes and refreshes. The light lemony scent smells amazing, and the lotion dried very quickly. What I LOVED about this product was how soft my skin felt after use. It was like butter! So smooth and soft, it is a part of my morning and evening moisturizing routine now.

Belli Pure & Pampered Body Wash:

Specially formulated for daily use, is gently cleans without stripping skin of its natural oils. It features cucumber and green tea extracts, which are both rich in antioxidants. The lavender and chamomile not only provide an incredible scent, they offer a relaxing aromatherapy experience.

Belli Healthy Glow Facial Hydrator :

This daily/nightly moisturizer is rich in botanical humectants that help refine and soften skin texture. It includes an antioxidant boost of Vitamin C and grape seed oil for healthy and radiant looking skin. It is lightweight, dries quickly, and the grape seed gives it a wonderful citrus scent. Like the All Day Moisture Body Lotion, the Healthy Glow Facial Hydrator left my skin feeling as soft and smooth as butter. Truly amazing!

Belli Eye Brightening Cream:

Since I have ulcerative colitis, I tire very easily and it usually shows in my eyes first. Keeping products on hand to help minimize the tired eyes plagued with dark circles is a must for me. The Belli Eye Brightening Cream  does a fabulous job of hydrating the delicate eye skin to reduce puffiness, and the Vitamin B3 helps the eye area look restored. It features Vitamin K that has been scientifically reported to reduce the appearance of dark circles. The bottle is .5 ounces, so I like to keep it tucked into my handbag for a quick refresher when needed throughout the day.

Belli Skincare products are manufactured in the U.S.A, are not tested on animals, and are OB/GYN & Dermatologist recommended. Belli is Picky for a Purpose delivering trusted skin care solutions that pamper and protect without known harmful chemicals.

You can purchase these Belli products at belliskincare.com, buy buy Baby, Ulta, and other fine retailers nationwide. If you would like to learn more about Belli, be sure to visit their website

In addition to the Belli skincare products, I also received CapriClear Spray-On Moisturizer.

CapriClear Spray-On Moisturizer was conceived by a dermatologist, and is a pure and effective solution for even the most sensitive skin. Made with just a single-ingredient, fractionated coconut oil, which is extracted from whole coconut oil, it is the purest, most stable form of coconut oil available.

CapriClear is colorless and odorless, and sprayed onto the skin, it creates an even, fine veil of moisture that is quickly absorbed for soothing relief. It is non-greasy and won't stain clothing. It contains natural and anti-bacterial properties, and is free of:

Fragrance, parabens, emulsifiers, phthalates, dyes, sulfates, preservatives,PABA, additives, gluten, and other toxins that can lead to skin irritation.

CapriClear is great for an all natural moisturizer, helps improve the appearance of scars and stretchmarks, and is accepted by the National Eczema Association, which I love. My daughter tends to get eczema flares often in the winter, so the 1.9oz travel size is perfect for her to keep tucked into her backpack for quick moisturizing and relief while at school.

Earlier this year I learned of all the health benefits of coconut oil, and one of them was it is great for the hair. While I didn't see any hair recommendations on the product packaging, I actually have been spritzing some of this on my hair daily. It really helps to reduce the appearance of dry, brittle hair and adds a nice little shine to it as well, leaving my hair soft and silky all day long. Since my daughter keeps the travel size we received in her school bag, I will be purchasing the full size to keep in my stash of beauty care products that I use daily.

CapriClear can be purchased at Ulta, Harmons, Bed Bath & Beyond, Amazon, Drugstore.com, AskDerm, com, GreenCupboards.com, and other fine retailers. If you would like to learn more about CapriClear, you can find more information on their website.

Do you suffer from dry, irritated winter skin? Do you think Belli Skincare and CapriClear would help relieve your winter skin symptoms?

  26. I don't suffer too much from dry skin because we live in a warm weather state and we are not running a furnace which tends to dry skin out more. But I am always looking to try out new skin care products because I like to see what is out there.

  28. I have sensative skin and a lot of products out there cause breakouts or rashes. Not a fan. I also get really bad dry skin which gets worse in the Michigan winter. Yesterday I had a spot on my cheek that was cracked and bleeding after running errands. It was so dry and I must have brushed it with my hand or something and didnt realize. I got home and my skin was flaky. Not a fan of that either. I've tried a few products, some good results, some rotten. This one sounds like one worth trying.
