I've mentioned a time or two here my love for essential oils. I have been using them for the past few years and think they do wonders for natural healing. Tea Tree Oil is one of my favorites, and since it's considered the "jack of all trades" of the essential oil family, we use it frequently in our household. Tea Tree Oil is a great topical antiseptic and has infection-reducing benefits, so it great to use on rashes, burns, small cuts and scrapes, and even in your shampoo to treat dandruff! Even though I am 35, I still get the occasional pimple on my face, and find Tea Tree Oil amazing at zapping it down quickly. What I don't find amazing is the smell of the oil though. I used a dab before bed and the smell was so strong, it woke my husband up. He said, "You smell mediciney! Pee-yew!" How's that for an ego boost? So, I try to only use it when I am going to be at home away from others.

Recently I stumbled on Chamuel Tea Tree Balm.

I was pretty interested in this product because I loved the idea of getting tea tree oil in balm form. What really piqued my interest was it claimed it had a fresh, clean citrus scent. Getting the benefits of tea tree oil without the stinky scent? I'll bite!

Chamuel Tea Tree Balm is made with 100% Green Tea, Tea Tree Oil, Lavender Oil, Lemon Oil, Peppermint Oil, Beeswax, Safflower Seed Oil, Olive Oil, Jojoba Oil, and Wheatgerm.  It can be applied to different areas of the body for various purposes and treatments:

• Great for dry/cracked heels, elbows and hands
• Use as a foot balm for sweaty, smelly feet
• Relief from sore muscles, scratches and small sores
• Relieves itching caused from insect bites
• Use on razor burn and sensitive skin from waxing
• Moisturizes cuticles and chapped lips

I have been using the balm frequently on my dry hands. We are in the middle of a basement renovation, and anyone who's done renovating before, knows that drywall work will zap the moisture right out of your hands, leaving them dry, cracked and itchy. The balm has worked wonders at soothing and replenishing moisture to the skin. I love that it goes on light, is not greasy, and best of all, it did hold up to its promise that it didn't have an over-powering scent. The fragrance really is light, clean and citrus smelling. It does come in a cute little tin that is perfect for your handbag or pocket, so it's easy to take on the go.

Since it contains no harsh chemicals, parabens, fragrances or artificial ingredients, it is perfect for all ages and skin types!

Chamuel Tea Tree Balm is available on Amazon for $16.97, but if you use the code MIXEDNUT at checkout, you can save 20% off the purchase price! Coupon code is good through 4/30/15.
