Mornings are kind of hit or miss for my family. Either we are on point, or we are rushing around in a frenzy trying to get out the door on time. Thursday was one of those frenzied kind of mornings. Allison came stomping down the stairs while yelling "You forgot to wake me up!" Yes. Yes I forgot. Oops! Mariah was already waiting for us in the car, so there wasn't any time to sit down to breakfast. One rule that I have is everyone eats something before heading out the door in the morning. School is tough, and they need that fuel to jump start their brains so they can do their very best throughout the day. I prefer for them to have a bowl full of cereal, but when that's not possible, I am glad there are nutritious and delicious options to help keep us on track and get us out the door on time. I was thrilled when I heard that family favorite Honey Bunches of Oats cereal is now available out of the bowl with the arrival of new Honey Bunches of Oats Breakfast Biscuits!
Mornings just got easier now that we have these new on-the-go breakfast biscuits stocked in our pantry. New Honey Bunches of Oats Breakfast Biscuits provide the unmistakable crunch of traditional Post® Honey Bunches of Oats cereals, and whole grain goodness in every bite.
Each pouch contains 4 biscuits that are available in three scrumptious flavors: Honey Roasted, Strawberry and Chocolate Chip. Since they are made with 100% whole grain and contain 5g of protein per serving, I know they are going to provide my family with long-lasting energy. They go great with a serving of low fat yogurt and fruit, and provide us with the convenience of still getting to have a nutritious breakfast when we are on-the-go.
My family adores each flavor, but where mine and Jason's favorite is the strawberry, Mariah chooses the honey roasted and Allison likes to reach for the chocolate chip.
Not only are they perfect to dunk in your morning coffee or tea, they make a wonderful mid-morning or afternoon snack. I also keep them handy in the car so the girls can refuel after track and tennis practice.
New Honey Bunches of Oats Breakfast Biscuits are now available at most major grocers. If you would like to learn more, please visit Honey Bunches of Oats website.
