My father in law was over at our house the other day, and he needed to move my car. "Where are your keys?" he asked. I replied, "Just grab them out of the purse. It's right over there." That little conversation really got me thinking about how the contents of a handbag are mysterious to some people. I mean, we take it with us practically everywhere we go. It's almost like an extension of our own bodies sometimes. What could we possibly need to have within reach at all times? Today, I'm going to share with you what I keep in MY handbag. Really, it's not as exciting as one would think, but it is full of practical and useful items that I use on a daily basis.
See, nothing top secret here, but every day essentials. Keys, sunglasses, pepper spray, coin purse and my phone. In addition to those are Target-purchased essentials. Floss, hand sanitizer, chap stick and Tampax Pocket Pearl.

ReplyDeleteThe packaging for female products just keeps getting better and better. I remember before I had Mica it was ok, not great. It was 9 months before I had him, then 2 1/2 years before I had my next period (breastfeeding). I was in aww over how the packaging changed.

ReplyDeleteThey certainly would have made life a lot easier back when I needed them! To tell you the truth I am sitting here thinking and I know my wallet is in there--keys--lots of misc receipts I think some lip gloss a flash light (small)--and probably the kitchen sink!!

ReplyDeleteThat's what I use too, and they are great. Love the discreet size. BTW - I absolutely LOVE your purse. The contents of my purse are almost the same as yours - just add a checkbook (why I don't know...just in case). I had to laugh at your FIL, though - my husband says the same thing. He will absolutely not go in my purse - EVER. If he has a check I need to deposit, he will put it next to my purse...never in it. Haha!
