Halloween Party 2015

We hosted our annual Halloween party last weekend, and had a blast with all of our family and friends! We ate some yummy treats...

Recipe: Combine 1 8oz soften brick of cream cheese with 2 cups shredded Colby Jack cheese. Shape into balls. Stick 8  chow mien noodles in each ball for spider legs. Use black food coloring for the eyes. Set on top of round crackers to serve.

I used the Wilton Coffin Mini Nonstick Cake Pan and Wilton Skeleton Bones Candy Mold to make these brownies. Mash up some Oreos for grave dirt and top with Peeps. They were the hit of the party treats!

Did a little game playing...

And finished the night off with a few crafts...

All in all, it was another successful Halloween party!

Are you hosting a Halloween party this year? What are some of your favorite Halloween party games?

  1. I love all your food ideas! Not having a Halloween party but I think I'd try my hand at making some spooky treats for Lil Pumpkin. She'd love them!

  2. Wow, it's still so hot over there that kids are outside in their shorts? And here we're heating like it's middle of winter :)
The chubby kid is adorable :) Seems like they all had tons of fun!
The coffin brownies are a bit too much for me, but I do lurv the lil ghosts, pumpkins and spiders :) And your plates are gorgeous as always!

    1. It was unseasonably warm on the day of the party, thankfully! It snowed on Halloween last year, so I am still trying to decide if we are going to go out to collect candy this year or just stay indoors and pass it out. Last year we only went for an hour, which was hardly worth the effort of getting dressed up to go out.

    2. yes, and knowing you, Wonder Woman costume really is a bit thin for cold temps :))) It's bellow ten here today, could be close to zero tonight... I thought it might even snow.

    3. They do make women costumes so flimsy these days! Definitely not made to go out Trick or Treating in Indiana weather, that's for sure!

Yuck on the snow! Please keep it all in your area. We are having another unseasonably warm day today and I have my doors open. I wish it would stay this way year round!

    1. If I don't send them home exhausted, then I consider it a failure lol

  4. We usually just sit at the house and wait on trick or treaters. No other party/celebrations than that

  11. Oh my goodness I LOVE the coffin brownies!! I will definitely have to try out that idea. I'm not throwing a party, but my best friend is supposed to be in town with her crew of 5 kids - between her kids and mine, it would be worthwhile to do, and they would love it!
