Wordless Wednesday ~ The Walking Dead
Every September, our town likes to put on a Zombie Walk. They invite the community to dress up in their best zombie attire, then come out to walk through downtown. I've missed every year so far, but I was able to catch the tail end of it this year. I was pretty impressed with some of the costumes the people created!

I love it! We have a zombie walk here. I've never been to it, but Travis had.
ReplyDeleteWe only came for the walk. I guess they had games and other activities hours before hand, but we weren't able to get there in time. You should go to your next one. It's quite interesting!
Deletei see the most people of this world in same appearances
ReplyDeleteThe world does contain some pretty scary people!
DeleteOnly in America....only in America....
ReplyDeleteNaw, zombie love is global. I'm sure they have these walks in other countries too ;)
DeleteSome of them really went all out. The really tall dude is not to be messed with with that axe haha or just kick his stilts out from under him.
ReplyDeleteThat was one big ax! Probably needs it so big so he can actually hit his target from way up there!
DeleteI love the Walking Dead and would love to take part in this. I think they all look the same--but looks fun!
ReplyDeleteI am horrible with the costume makeup, so I went as a regular person. I'd definitely participate if I had better zombie makeup skills!
Deleteoooh my...Theresa..I love them all! Always love zombie hehehehe..My favorite costumes are that nun and the nurse!
ReplyDeleteZombies sure are fun! I did find that nurse to be terrifying. Made me think of the priest in The Exorcist lol
DeleteI love everything about this except for the clowns. I don't do clowns. LOL
ReplyDeleteClowns are definitely creepy!
DeleteNothing says Halloween like the undead. I love it! Best. Thing. Ever.
ReplyDeleteThis was back in September, but I thought it fitting to share at Halloween ;)
DeleteI am not into gore at all. Some of these were well done but I didn't like the creepy ones. I bet it's a fun time for those that love this!
ReplyDeleteThose are all pretty scary costumes.I think the zombie nun costume is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteOk Theresa! Some of these were triggering my gag reflex esp that last one. UGH. sigh. But yes you are correct, many are very creative!!
ReplyDeleteUm... er... and I am your 830th follower on gfc! Whooopey stinkin' do, right? lol
ReplyDeleteThanks for being my 3rd follower!!!!! Thanks so much for your moral and blogger support, ya dang cutie!!!!
What a cool zombie walk! That zombie clown picture is so creepy.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! They totally look scary!
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to attend a proper zombie event but have never had the opportunity. I'm a big fan of the LARP ones where they actually chase you and you have to get to safe points and such.
ReplyDeleteNow, that's my kind of parade!
ReplyDeleteI love all the costumes in the first photo. It truly looks like the show, which freaks me right out and I can't watch but my husband does! - Jeanine
ReplyDeleteHow fun is that? The guy on the stilts was really creative!
ReplyDeleteI was going to do the zombie walks that go on in the state, but there are so many of them this time of year and I opted to do a Viking one instead. The big zombie walk here is more of a obstacle course. You have flags and the zombies chase you. You don't dress up as a zombie. We do have those kind, though.
ReplyDeleteThat is a neat idea for a community/town to have a annual zombie walk! Your pictures really tell it all - some very cool outfit ideas.
ReplyDeleteThey are all looks scary! I love The walking dead. and love this parade
ReplyDeleteWow, some of them really got into it didn't they?! That one guy had the best zombie look on his face haha
ReplyDeleteI am not really into The Walking Dead. It's a little bit too scary for me. But I love any community event, so I could definitely see myself getting into this.
ReplyDeleteThis is an interesting event. Very convincing costumes
ReplyDeleteThey really did go all out. They had a zombie walk in Michigan too. We never went but we would see zombies walking the street after it was over. Not sure if they were walking home, or just wanted to not have the day end. ;)
ReplyDeleteThis is too much fun! I love that everyone participates as well. The more people, the more fun this event is. I wish we have something similar here! It's really awesome!
