Who's ready for the 3 day weekend? Me! And, probably you too! Memorial Day weekend is my unofficial start to the summer. It's time to dust off the grill, break out the sunscreen, and spend days lounging by the pool. Deleteyou know, sometimes I sit in the dark and shed tears thinking of poor Jason who has to live with you in those spring and summer days when you open all the windows and doors on the first sign of heat and turn house into livid hell :) For us who cannot stand high temps, that is an equivalent for the worst nightmares :)
DeleteHe was so pissed the other day because all he wanted to do was shower, then lay in bed under the fan to soak in some cool breezes. I was in the room first getting my own stuff done and told him he just had to wait a good 30 minutes to turn that fan on before I left. If I could turn my house into a sauna, I'd do it!
Deletethat is exactly me! When I come back home after being outside in the summer, I first stick my head under the facet and then sit in front of a fan for at least five or ten minutes before I can function again :) I think it probably has to do with blood types, how we handle heat. Heat exhausts me terribly, summer is literally a natural catastrophe for me, but to you it is the source of energy.
