It's not a secret that summer is my favorite season. I always feel so much more energized on warm, sunny days and love everything the season has to offer. DeleteTrying to - we've had a couple fun weekends out of town. Anniversary trip to Asheville with the hubby where we visted the Biltmore House, then a weekend with the family to Myrtle Beach - we rented an AirBNB and had a great time!
DeleteMy birthday is June 21. The first day of summer. I don't care if I get anything. I just like the day. It feels nice to have my day when it's nice and warm outside.

I love being able to go for a walk after dinner and it still being daylight out. I love the relaxation that is in the air. Not so stressed out.

ReplyDeleteWe live in Kissimmee, and spend a lot of time in the pool. However, given where we live, summer is not our favorite time of the year. We like it better doing things when it's not hot and humid and the tourists are gone.

I love summer. The warmth (yes, even during the heat waves) soaks into my bones and makes me not hurt as much. The garden is growing nicely and we have fresh strawberries, so far, to enjoy while we enjoy the sunshine!
