My family loves being out and about, exploring the great outdoors. We aren't ready to wave goodbye to summer just yet, so as long as the weather is agreeable, we've been packing in as many outdoor activities as possible before the cooler temps kick in. It's not enough for us to just be outside, we have to be doing something active with our time. Whether its paddle boarding, kayaking, archery, or biking, as long as it keeps us moving, we're game.
Because food is fuel for our bodies, it's important to fill up with nutrient dense and high quality fats to run efficiently. We all know that loading up on carb heavy foods will cause a crash and burn effect, so we try to reach for food that is going to help us truck along smoothly without any of the sluggish side effects you get from those starchy and carb laden foods. Lately, our newest obsession for fueling our bodies while out and about are these tasty little packets from Fat Fit Go.
Fat Fit Go portable energy packets, made with real food, are perfect for anyone with an on-the-go lifestyle. Each packet offers long-lasting energy from high-quality blended fats, including MCT and other nutrient dense superfoods.
Fat Fit Go contains no preservatives or undesirable ingredients. You get nothing but pure, clean goodness in each packet. It's peanut, sugar, dairy, soy, and grain free. With 24 grams of fat, 3 grams of protein, and 1-2 carbs, Fat Fit Go is perfect for those who are following Paleo, Keto, or Vegan diets.
There are currently two flavors available: Tropical Margarita and Original Chocolate. While Jason prefers the chocolate, I am more of a fan of the tropical margarita flavor. But both are delicious in their own right.
Simply knead, squeeze, and eat. The packets are small and lightweight, so they can easily be tucked into a pocket or small bag for consuming while on-the-go. I tuck them into my gym back to refuel with on the days I do a double duty class, and Jason likes them for his evening biking sessions. I think they would also be great not only for overly active people, like my family, but for more leisurely activities like short hikes and camping.
Fat Fit Go is made for those who care about what food they put in their body. It's a crave-worthy snack worth checking out. If you'd like to learn more, be sure to check out the Fat Fit Go website.
What healthy foods do you use to fuel your body while your on-the-go?
Is that the neighbour's fugly camper? OMG the fugliest of fugliness!
ReplyDeleteI've never done any of them dynamic activities, I wish somebody would glue me to a lil' flying soccer.
So one just sucks these packets up? How very sf!
Yes, sir, that's the fugly camper. They just said they were moving and we are hoping they take it with them. Their daughter is buying their house, so they may just leave it there for storage. It will go into winter storage though in November, so that's one good thing to look forward to during the winter months.
DeleteDezzy's ticker might not hold up to some of those activities :( Jason has decided that he wants to start mountain biking. As if regular biking just isn't enough *roll eyes*
Yep, just suck on the packet then get on with your day :)
aren't there laws which forbid large vehicles parking in the street? I know that in my country trucks cannot even enter certain parts of the city outside the main roads (I know because one of my neighbours once sent cops onto another neighbour who is a truck driver and parks his massive fugly truck in front of his house during night ruining the pavement and probably the street in the process. He looks like he came from Bosnia which in our terms means a highland hillbilly :) ).
DeleteThey built onto their driveway, so it's in their yard on their own property. We live in the county anyways, so there are no ordinances about fugly vehicles parked on the street. We had a nasty, broke down car with a horrible 4 letter word spray painted on it in front of our neighborhood methead's house. I think it sat there in the street for about 4 years before someone set fire to it. If we lived in the city they would have removed it long before someone decided to smoke it out.
DeleteWho wouldn't want long lasting energy!! That's the main think I pray about every morning before I get out of bed!! Seriously.
ReplyDeleteGirl, you and me both. Getting older sucks lol
DeleteThat's so great to satisfy your energy, while you work out. Are these ok for kids? Isaak gets so hungry after soccer, and Mica is the same after cross country! They both must be growing like weeds too!
ReplyDeleteYes, these would be fine for Mica and Isaak. They are made with all natural ingredients like nuts, cocoa butter, chia seeds, and a little stevia for sweetness. Unless they have allergies, these packets are perfectly fine for your boys.
DeleteThose sound like they're perfect for an active day outside. I don't like having a quick energy snack, only to be sluggish in a short period of time.
ReplyDeleteJust sucking it back and going sure is a win. Knowing my body though it would go no more lol
ReplyDeleteI would love to check it out! Sounds like a great snack for me!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of this one before but it's really important that we're aware of what we eat and put into our body. Thanks for sharing more about this!
ReplyDeleteOh this sounds fabulous! I hadn’t ever heard of this before but think it’s worth trying for sure! - jeanine
ReplyDeleteThis sounds really good.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, this is the first time that I heard this and I think this is worth buying. I would give this a try
ReplyDeleteStarch and carbs are a real drag. Love this new way to fuel up fast. Perfect for days when meetings take up my lunch time.
ReplyDeleteI haven't really tried such food, Theresa. They look super handy, though..and I guess my hubby, who's an avid biker, will love this!
