We thought the bright colors looked really fun on the bridge, like what you would see at a carnival. Don't mind the faces here. The sun was shining right in their eyes.
The girls thought they'd be cheeky and pretend "London Bridge was falling down" lol.
That marks another landmark to check off the travel bucket list.
What's a landmark you'd like to check off of your travel bucket list?
Such lovely colour combos indeed! Love the mix of blue with beige and sandy colours. You are such an ingenious photographer!
ReplyDeleteI love the architecture of it. We don't have anything regal like that here. Our bridges aren't very pretty to look at.
DeleteOur downtown is regal like that with tons of 19th century palaces, but outside of the centre it is all sadness and despair :)
DeleteOlder countries have the best architecture. I think with us being such a fairly new country, we're just too modernized with our buildings and lack that old world class, though you can find some beautiful structures in the bigger cities like Chicago.
DeleteOur mayor is making our downtown look all pretty and welcoming, but as soon as you leave the area, it's also sadness and despair. The west side of town is nothing but the trash that is migrating from Chicago. Lots of gangs and drugs over there. I wish he'd invest more in cleaning up that area than putting colorful lights on bridges and building overpriced apartments that the typical local can't afford.
It's huge! You know Isaak would love that gold under it. I wish we had things that looked like that here.
ReplyDeleteI'm waiting for the day you post a pic of Isaak getting all gold teeth lol. The boy does love his gold :)
DeleteWhat a cool looking bridge. I hadn't even heard of it until today, but hopefully I make it to London someday to see it myself.
ReplyDeleteBut, you do get a little taste of London every time you hop on the Peter Pan ride at Disney, don't you Robin? ;)
DeleteLondon Bridge is amazing. We saw it on our list trip to the area, and it was so impressive.
ReplyDeleteIt is so impressive. Even more so in person!
DeleteThe first time I set foot on the London Tower Bridge, I felt so amazed at how grand it is. It is definitely a must-see for every one who gets to visit London! Thanks for sharing your photos. It brought back so many happy memories of my trip there years ago.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to tell just how grand it is from photos alone. One must definitely take the opportunity to see it in person if they can.
DeleteYou sure get some of the best shots indeed. They sure look like they had fun playing on London Bridge is falling down haha
ReplyDeleteAnd then we had that song stuck in our head for the rest of the day lol
DeleteWow, those are some amazing photos! I remember being there 20 years ago, time to go back with the kid! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYou must take your son there some day, Mitch. I bet he'd love it!
DeleteI love fancy bridges! These are so cool!
ReplyDeleteMe too! I wish we had some like that here in the US!
DeleteBeautiful photos! Love all the intricate details on the bridge and supports.
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love old world style?

ReplyDeleteIt truly is!
DeleteThe London Tower Bridge is so grand! It sure is an engineering marvel! I love how colorful it is too. Wish I could visit one day. BTW, your photos are so crisp and clear.
ReplyDeleteThank you Kristine! I do hope you are able to visit yourself some day!
DeleteThese pictures are exactly what I pictured structures in London to look like. I would love to visit.
ReplyDeleteThank you Cindy :)
DeleteThese are beautiful pictures of such amazing places. The colors you captures are so vibrant!
ReplyDeleteAren't the colors so fun? We really felt like it was like an amusement park ride with how vibrant they were.
DeleteThe literal London Bridge wow! I would of been cheeky too and did some silly poses near it as well!
ReplyDeleteGirl, I know you would get all cheeky in your photos ;)
DeleteDidn't know that bridge was blue.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are vivid and bright. And now I'm singing, London Bridge is falling down... :) Posts like this make me want to travel. ;) :)
