Wordless Wednesday ~ Tower Bridge (London Bridge)

Just a few of my favorite snaps of Tower Bridge that we took on our trip to London....

We thought the bright colors looked really fun on the bridge, like what you would see at a carnival. Don't mind the faces here. The sun was shining right in their eyes.

The girls thought they'd be cheeky and pretend "London Bridge was falling down" lol.

That marks another landmark to check off the travel bucket list.

What's a landmark you'd like to check off of your travel bucket list?

    1. I love the architecture of it. We don't have anything regal like that here. Our bridges aren't very pretty to look at.

    2. Our downtown is regal like that with tons of 19th century palaces, but outside of the centre it is all sadness and despair :)

    3. Older countries have the best architecture. I think with us being such a fairly new country, we're just too modernized with our buildings and lack that old world class, though you can find some beautiful structures in the bigger cities like Chicago.

Our mayor is making our downtown look all pretty and welcoming, but as soon as you leave the area, it's also sadness and despair. The west side of town is nothing but the trash that is migrating from Chicago. Lots of gangs and drugs over there. I wish he'd invest more in cleaning up that area than putting colorful lights on bridges and building overpriced apartments that the typical local can't afford.

  2. It's huge! You know Isaak would love that gold under it. I wish we had things that looked like that here.

    1. But, you do get a little taste of London every time you hop on the Peter Pan ride at Disney, don't you Robin? ;)

    1. It's hard to tell just how grand it is from photos alone. One must definitely take the opportunity to see it in person if they can.
