Rain, Rain, Go Away.... While most of the country is enjoying nice weather, it's still cold and rainy here in the Midwest. While I don't love the cold, I actually kind of like rainy days. It gives me an excuse to laze around with a hot cuppa tea and catch up on a few more chapters of a book. And let's not forget it's perfect napping weather! While April didn't bring many showers, May definitely has been making up for it. April sure brought more than showers here. And we still got it in May. When not out in the crummy rain getting wet thanks to crummy work, we all hide away and write.

ReplyDeleteThere are several things I like to do on rainy days, depending on my mood. At the top of the list is reading, but that's always on top when I have spare time. I also like to catch up on my sleep or spend the day in the kitchen making a big batch of my mom's vegetable beef soup.
