With the return of the football season, we're welcoming the return of tailgating as well. We're pretty lucky to live a few blocks from the university, so when there is a home game, you're most likely going to find us parked on campus, rubbing elbows with fellow friends and fans alike. When there isn't a home game, we'll drive down to Mariah's university and partake in their football shindigs. It's a given that during the fall, Saturday is strictly for tailgating here.
We all know that the best part of tailgating is the food! It always amazes me to see people who bring their grills, or even set up an entire working kitchen from their trucks, but this girl right here likes to keep the food good and simple. When I head to the game, I want to be footloose and fancy-free. I don't want to mess with slaving away in my kitchen all morning prepping tailgating food, or have to mess with lugging a grill to the game. When I return home for the night, I'm tired. I don't want to have to wash out the slow cooker or pots and pans. That's just too much work when you just want to have a day of fun with your friends, rooting for your team. That's why I'm kind of obsessed with Jersey Mike's catering.
With Jersey Mike's catering, I can place my order online the night before the game, and it's ready for pick-up the next morning. I can just swing by Jersey Mike's on my way to the game and know that I've got a delicious spread that's going to thrill my friends and family. The best part is, I didn't have to lift a finger to put it together.
Using Jersey Mike's online catering service is as easy as it gets. Last weekend, I chose to order Subs By The Box, which feeds 10 people. With this option, I could choose 4 different sandwich options, so I could offer a wide variety to our tailgating guests. Because my guests all have different dietary needs, I really appreciate that I can customize each sandwich pick, like leaving off the oils, adding pickles, or getting gluten-free bread for my friends who have a gluten intolerance.
In addition to their scrumptious sub sandwiches, Jersey Mike's also has a good variety of sides and beverages to round out your tailgating needs. I added several bags of chips, a cookie tray, and bottles of water and tea, so the only thing I had to do as far as putting the tailgating meal together was dump a bag of ice into the cooler. Does it really get any easier than that?
When we don't need to feed as many people, Jersey Mike's also offers Subs by the Bag and Personalized Lunchboxes. I like the personalized lunchboxes for when we're tailgating out of town, since we don't need to feed a crowd. We can just order for our individual needs and hit the road.
The cold subs and sides that we get from Jersey Mike's catering menu are perfect to take along to your tailgate, picnic, or family road trip.
If you're looking to do tailgating done right, make sure you bookmark Jersey Mike's website for your catering needs. Your guests will love the tasty food, and you'll love the ease and convenience of not having to stress yourself out over meal prep and cleanup. Be sure to make Jersey Mike's a part of your team for your next tailgating or picnic needs.
What's your favorite sandwich from Jersey Mike's?
Everyone sure looks like happy campers indeed as you chow down. Sounds like they are the perfect one to use, no muss and fuss on your part. Nice that they cater to individual needs too and can avoid the gluten crap.
ReplyDeleteBeing able to customize my order is one of my favorite things about them. While I featured the cold sandwiches here, they also have amazing hot subs too!
DeleteOoooh, you caught so many victims for the photoshoot this time, love it :) Love seeing all the family and friends in these photos! I'm still not used to seeing Ally with the darker hair!
ReplyDeleteHer hair is actually dark to begin with (though not that dark). She just bleached it a few years ago and it's been light since then. She did dye it red in like March, but hated it, so going dark was the only way to get rid of the red since it's such a hard color to cover.
DeleteIt's been awhile, so I don't know my favorite sandwich. I did love it though. Such great photos of you!
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried it, but I hear their tuna fish sandwich is amazing! I like the veggie sub, but there are a lot of hot ones that the family likes to order when we go.
DeleteI went to Jersey Mike's once and didn't like their sandwiches at all plus they got our order wrong. I doubt I would go back there again.
ReplyDeleteThat sucks that you had such a bad experience! I was just thinking about a horrible one I had at Chili's 20 years ago and I never went back there, myself.
DeleteWe have a newer one in my town, but I haven't taken Daisy yet.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you'll get there in due time :) I'll look for your review on your blog once you do!
DeleteYum.
ReplyDeleteIndeed!
DeleteI'm all for easy!! You can't get much easier than pouring a bag of ice. Plus, everything looks delicious.
ReplyDeleteI've never been tailgating and we also don't call those "subs". They look like heroes to me. :) One of my favorite parts of blogging is seeing all the differences in each state.
I agree! It's like someone once said "those aren't called sprinkles, they are jimmies!" LOL. In these parts, we call them cupcake sprinkles but apparently those on the east coast call them jimmies. I had never heard that term before, but now I think of it every time I decorate cupcakes.
DeleteEverybody looks so happy....Lovely tailgating.
ReplyDeleteJersey Mike's is delicious....yummy
Thank you Tanza :) And yes, they are so yummy!
DeleteLooks like a fun day of tailgating. We just had one open in Michigan sort of by us when we moved. We went once, and the veggie sub was good. I haven't been back. I wonder if they have them down here? I'll have to check (cuz I'm curious now). Go Fighting Irish???? Haha, just saying it sounds foreign to me. Go State (Michigan State, that is). ;) And no... I don't need a refresher on who has won the most, really I don't (shaking my head). :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not much for football but I'm up for tailgating anytime. I've never had Jersey Mike's. Looks yummy.
